Meet O.W.L.S
O.W.L.S. is an addiction and mental health recovery app created by people who’ve been there—because we know firsthand how hard it can be to ask for help in the moment you need it most. This app is designed to support relapse prevention by giving you real-time tools and a reliable network you can count on.
With O.W.L.S., you’ll build your "nest"—a trusted group of supporters who you will check in with (up to three times daily) to help keep you grounded and accountable. If a wave of crisis hits, the SOS button instantly notifies your nest and shares your GPS location, so reaching out for help is only one tap away.
You’ll also have access to a personal mood tracker, journaling space, and other supportive features that help you stay mindful and connected. While many resources focus on recovery after relapse, O.W.L.S. is here to help you stay ahead of it.
Because you deserve more than a second chance—you deserve real support, in real time.
Who We Are
Founder- Jonathan Gravina
O.W.L.S. was founded by Jonathan Gravina, someone who knows the recovery journey from the inside out. Jonathan is currently in recovery from cocaine and alcohol addiction, having completed two full 90-day residential treatment programs. Through hard work, deep reflection, and ongoing support, he’s experienced both the lowest points of addiction and the life-changing joy of sobriety.
Jonathan’s journey through addiction recovery wasn’t one he walked alone. While treatment was a critical turning point, what truly helped him stay the course was the unwavering love and support of his wife, Lucy, and their two children. Lucy’s patience, strength, and belief in his healing were foundational, and his children gave him a renewed sense of purpose — a powerful reason to keep moving forward.
Just as vital was the support of his broader family. His parents, brothers, sisters, and extended relatives formed a circle of encouragement that surrounded him with care, consistency, and hope. Whether offering words of encouragement or simply showing up when it mattered most, their support remained constant and heartfelt.
With the strength of his family behind him, Jonathan didn’t just survive addiction — he began truly living again. His experience inspired him.
He created O.W.L.S. to help others do the same. He understands how difficult it can be to reach out for help—how even picking up the phone can feel like lifting a hundred-pound brick. That’s why O.W.L.S. was designed to make connection and support just one tap away.
O.W.L.S. was built from real experience, with real empathy, for real recovery.
Digital Director- Chloe Feldmann
Her journey with addiction began to develop at 13 years old, when she started struggling with benzodiazepines and alcohol. Addiction quickly took hold of her life, but everything began to change at age 20, when she entered a 90-day residential treatment program that helped her reclaim her voice, her strength, and her future.
Chloe realized that she didn’t have a drug problem—she had unaddressed trauma, and substances were how she was trying to cope. That shift in understanding became the foundation for her healing.
Now in recovery, Chloe is using her lived experience and digital expertise to help others find the kind of connection and support she once wished she had. Through O.W.L.S., she’s committed to creating tools that are compassionate, practical, and available right when people need them most.
She believes no one should have to fight their battles alone—and that healing begins the moment we reach out.
O.W.L.S. was born from lived experience, deep healing, and the unwavering support of people who truly made a difference.
For Jonathan Gravia, much of his strength in early recovery came from his therapist, Paul S., who played a vital role during his time in rehab. Paul’s guidance, honesty, and compassion helped Jonathan lay the foundation for lasting change and gave him the tools to become the person—and the founder—he is today.
During his recovery journey, Jonathan met Chloe Feldmann, whose friendship and shared commitment to healing became a powerful source of inspiration. Together, they supported one another through the ups and downs of recovery and eventually joined forces to bring O.W.L.S. to life.
For Chloe, her transformation began with the care and insight of her therapist, Emily M., who, in Chloe’s words, genuinely saved her life. Emily helped her explore the trauma beneath her addiction, uncovering a life worth living and giving her the strength to stay grounded in recovery. Chloe also found a lifelong friend in Jonathan, who has been by her side every step of the way. He is not just the founder—he’s her greatest support system and a constant reminder that recovery is possible when you don’t have to do it alone.
Together, their experiences—and the people who helped shape them—are the heartbeat of O.W.L.S. This app is more than a tool. It’s a reflection of real recovery, deep connection, and the belief that healing starts with support.
