OWLS – On With Life Support

By downloading, accessing, or using OWLS – On With Life Support (“OWLS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the application.
OWLS is a connection and accountability application designed to help users:
· Build a trusted support network
· Perform daily check-ins
· Send non-verbal support alerts
· Notify selected supporters through anSOS feature
OWLS is intended to support communication, accountability, and connection among trusted individuals.
OWLS does not provide:
· Medical advice
· Mental health treatment
· Crisis counseling
· Emergency or law enforcement services
OWLS is not intended to replace professional medical care, mental health treatment, therapy, crisis counseling, or emergency services. Always seek the advice of a qualified professional regarding any medical or mental health condition.
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911 (or your local emergency number) immediately.
The SOS feature allows users to notify selected supporters that they need immediate support.
· SOS alerts are sent only to supporters chosen by the user.
· SOS alerts do not contact emergency services, medical providers, law enforcement, or crisis hotlines.
· OWLS does not guarantee that supporter swill see, respond to, or be able to assist with SOS alerts.
· Use of the SOS feature is at the user’s sole discretion and responsibility.
By using OWLS, you agree that you are solely responsible for:
· Choosing appropriate supporters
· Determining when to use check-ins or SOS alerts
· Deciding when professional or emergency help is necessary
· Ensuring the accuracy of information you provide
OWLS does not monitor user activity or intervene in emergencies.
Certain features of OWLS may display approximate location information for supporters when enabled by the user.
· Location sharing is optional and user-controlled.
· Location data is shared only with selected supporters and only as part of enabled features.
· OWLS does not guarantee accuracy, availability, or real-time precision of location data.
Your use of OWLS is subject to our PrivacyPolicy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using OWLS, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.
OWLS makes no guarantees regarding:
· User safety
· Supporter availability or response
· Improvement in health, recovery, orwell-being
· Reliability or uninterrupted availability of the service
Results vary based on individual circumstances and usage.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, OWLS and its creators, owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or harm arising from your use of the Services, including any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. This includes, but is not limited to, reliance on alerts, check-ins, or communications with supporters.
· Use or inability to use the application
· Missed, delayed, or failed notifications
· Failure of supporters to respond
· Reliance on information or alerts generated by the app
Use of OWLS is at your own risk.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of OWLS at any time, with or without notice.
We may suspend or terminate access toOWLS at our discretion if we believe these Terms have been violated or if continued use poses risk or harm.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of OWLS after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, UnitedStates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
